The Marquette County Board of Supervisors welcomes youth in grades 11 and 12 who are residents of Marquette County to apply for a position as Youth Representatives on the County Board. Selected students will serve a one-year term of office. This initiative provides an opportunity for Marquette County youth to play a valuable and active leadership role in the governance of the county, while enhancing their interest in the operation of local government and civic participation. Youth involvement on the County Board will require enthusiasm as well as a commitment of time and energy to this important role. Youth representatives will be expected to attend County Board meetings to share the youth perspective and become engaged in county issues.
